Agreed.

I hadn't read the book yet when I watched season 1. After enjoying season 1 I was interested in the book, but I almost didn't want to read it because I didn't want to ruin the show. When I learned just how much the show had deviated from the book I was happy. I could read the books without hurting any enjoyment I'd get from season 2. Sure, there are still some big things that happened in the book that I want to see in the show, but I don't want an exact copy. The way they've done it lets you enjoy both the show and the book separately, or together.

That is a great idea.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Loved the first episode. I was on the edge of my seat when that herd of walkers passed through the abandoned cars. And the ending was crazy!

I actually like that the series is sort of following it's own path. As long as they don't stray too far from the source material, I don't mind them taking some artistic license. Kirkman has said he loves it too and that if he'd known the series would've lasted this long he would have kept Shane around longer too to explore the love triangle more.

Also, the show is shattering ratings records!

Really don't want to like Daryl. But, he is slowly becoming my favorite character on the show. I am inspired I need to learn to hunt, with out learning to be racist. Being able to field dress and animal seems like a good skill to know.

I was upset with the why Carol ranted at Rick. I can see were she was coming form but at the same time I did not like it.

Maybe all the emotional roller coaster and not wanting to feel a certain way but feeling it any how is why I love this show soooooo much!

not all hunters are like that LOL my brother in law is an avid hunter, and is in no way racist :). Anyway i know you are kidding but more to the point, Daryl is an amazing character.

The season 2 premiere was freaking awesome. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. I really don't know what's going to happen. I'm scared for all the characters.

I love that Shane is still alive. I don't want him to die.

I love Daryl.

Lori telling the group (and manly Carol) that they need to stop blaming Rick was great.

I'm really wondering what they are going to do with the kids in the long run. They are going to visibly age pretty fast and if the show lasts a few more years the kids are going to look way older than they are going to supposed to be.

I love Gina Torres, but I think she's too old to play Michonne. Then again, a lot of the actors in the show are older than the characters are in the book.

The show sometimes has a tendency to do that but it's not always a bad thing.

Anybody watch the Webisodes on the AMC website? They give the back story behind the zombie lady from season 1 (and issue #1) that Rick feels sorry for and goes back to put out of her misery. Kinda cool.

I love the fact that we can feel Ricks desperation and that he really is losing faith in himself and has no clue what to do. I cannot wait til next episode the situation with both kids are tearing me apart as a parent.

Wow episode 3 was intense. I'm still in shock from the end! Good lord. Looks like this is the beginning of Shane going down a dark path.

And is it just me or does anyone else's heart pound whenever watching this show? I feel like there's always a sense of danger and I love it.
