Hey folks, Harry here...
I got word that MARVEL has shot a specific teaser trailer for THE AVENGERS - and that LOKI is featured in that teaser trailer. Makes total sense. I imagine that will either be on THOR or CAP... or Both if they're smart... But then... our buddies over at LATINO REVIEW - Kellvin says that he's learned that Joss Whedon is going to be having Loki bring in The Skrulls.
So - Let's see if I have this straight. In like a year's time... The man that gave us SERENITY - is going to bring a cosmic SKRULLian smackdown to Earth being fought off by the AVENGERS? Jesus, we live in blessed times. I mean, MARVEL is getting science fiction and fantasy... This just delights me to no end. I mean, this is amazing. We're going to have things we never thought we'd see. And I'll be walking into theater to see it! Fucking Cool!

Let’s start with Mark Ruffalo, who’s appearing as Bruce Banner / the Hulk in the upcoming Avengers film. During an interview with MTV News at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday, he described what his motion-capture Hulk would look like:All the features are mine, just really big. I got to see the maquette of the Hulk yesterday in full scope, and it’s awesome.
Then, last night at the Oscars, Ruffalo revealed an intriguing detail about the Avengers plot — sorta. Ruffalo told MTV’s Josh Horowitz:There’s some great Bruce Banner stuff, kind of a slant on him that we haven’t seen before. He’s introduced in a really great way.
When Horowitz followed up by speculating on the possibility of the Hulk acting as a “pseudo bad guy,” Ruffalo gave a very telling eyebrow raise. “Only time will tell,” Ruffalo responded.

Marvel's crop of summer 2011 movies is almost here, with "Thor" and "Captain America: The First Avenger" serving as a lead-in to next summer's blockbuster ensemble action flick, "The Avengers," directed by Joss Whedon. Production on the super-team adaptation will be starting soon enough, as a new report reveals that certain scenes will be shot this fall in Cleveland, Ohio.
The news comes from the state's governor, John Kasich, who made the announcement to a group of reporters gathered for Mayor Frank Jackson's State of the City speech this week, according to The Plain Dealer (via SuperHeroHype). The original plan was for the scenes to be shot in Detroit, but the production was moved to the Ohio city after reports surfaced that Michigan would be cutting film-oriented tax incentives.
"I'm really pleased that the city is going to get this movie. It's fantastic. It required quick and hard work between the community here and the state of Ohio, something that hasn't always happened," Kasich said.
A superhero team called “The Avengers” do battle against two separate alien extraterrestrial humanoid life forms. The Avengers are a superhero team, consisting of a group of Marvel Comics heroes aka “Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”. The aliens that The Avengers will fight are called “The Kree” and “Skrulls”. These two extraterrestrial races become embroiled in a war for ages that ultimately makes its way to Earth, and the Avengers unite to intervene with all their power and might combined.

Basically, Hawkeye's costume is going to be very similar to the Ultimates version of the character and what he looks like on the cover to the left. In the concept art, we see Renner wearing similar dark glasses and a leather outfit with a matching over-the-shoulder leather quill for his arrows, only the movie version of Hawkeye has the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo emblazoned on it to show his government allegiances. His precision bow is much like the one used by archers who do it for sports and hunting, which again, is also much like the Ultimates Hawkeye has in the picture to the left.

I'm hoping they go the way of the Ultimates and have the Chitauri invasion storyline. Tie that into the Captain Marvel one and they have gold. I want to see the Hulk vs. The Ultimates fight scene on the big screen. That would be awesome.

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, “Marvel’s The Avengers” brings together the mightiest super hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time. The star studded cast of super heroes will be joined by Cobie Smulders (“How I Met Your Mother) as Agent Maria Hill of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as Tom Hiddleston (“Wallander”) and Stellan Skarsgård (“Angels & Demons,” “Mamma Mia!”) who will both reprise their respective roles as Loki and Professor Erik Selvig from the upcoming Marvel Studios’ feature “Thor.”
“Marvel’s The Avengers” is being produced by Marvel Studios’ President, Kevin Feige, and executive produced by Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Louis D’Esposito, Patty Whitcher, and Jon Favreau. Marvel Studios’ Jeremy Latcham and Victoria Alonso will co-produce.

EW: Do you see him as a kind of hunched, gorilla-type?
Ruffalo: Not so much hunched, but the low center of gravity, and the flailing of the arms sometimes.

Doesn't sound too bad
