jaydee74 wrote:I did. My theory is in white text but I'll say it anyway since it's only a theory. I think that Hal was transported to Qward. The way Hal disintegrated on the last page reminded me of how Sinestro disintegrated at the end of Green lantern: Rebirth when he escaped to Qward so that's my guess.

Well, I called it. Great stuff. I loved that when Hall's energy was running out and he wanted to see one more thing before he was on empty, what he decides to make. Loved it. I loved the interaction between Sinestro and his people. It was the most emotional moment I think I have ever seen from Sinestro and it was amazing. The last page? Incredible.

Agreed. I've really enjoyed the fact that the series has really focused more on Sinestro so far. It seems like this may be a redemption story of sorts, and we really haven't seen that angle for him yet.

I know it's only comics but someone who has killed people like Sinestro doesn't deserve redemption (it's only comics, yes, but this actually happens in real life - maybe not the "redemption" bit but certainly different world leaders' pasts are ignored or conveniently forgotten about at times) and I like that the people of Korugar are very unlikely to give him that. However I suspect that Sinestro will screw this chance at redemption up anyway with his arrogance.
I love Doug Mahnke's art at the best of times but whenever there's an issue that his art is combined with dark colours like this one I think it just looks brilliant.

No, I agree, Sinestro shouldn't become a hero again. And like you said, I don't think he will because he'll either screw it up or just realize he's too far past redemption. But it's cool to at least that inner conflict for awhile.

I do love that he's a multi-dimensional character - he's capable of regret. And I love a villain that doesn't see themselves that way - that's the best kind.

Great ending to this story. Loved the outcome and once again, Sinestro screws over Hal. Still, I liked where Hal ends up by the time this issue is done and then we get the final scene with the Guardians and I'm curious as to what is going to happen next. Loving this.
