Oh my dear lord! #63 of this amazing series was outstanding! The background of the Guardians are given even more life and I love how it's being presented. Also, there was some amazing background stuff about Krona that was simply awesome. I cannot wait for the next part in this Green Lantern war story. I am loving it.

#63 was good for an exposition issue.

Green Lantern #63

Now this is what I'm talking about. I loved this. I've been kind of lukewarm on the last few issue of the main GL book. They haven't been bad by any means, but I just wasn't getting the same kick out of them I was before. This issue has changed that.

I think I like this book best when it features the different corps (or the main representatives of those corps) interacting with each other. I also love when they tie things going on now to things in the past (even if those past events haven't been seen/revealed before). Just such good stuff here. War of the Green Lanterns is going to be awesome. I just know it.

I also have to say that the art in this issue was great.

YAY! I loved the backstory with the Guardians and Krona. I loved that in the beginning the Guardians wore the White Lantern emblem and none of them knew anything about emotion. I also loved the Gauntlet that Krona used to protect himself against the Manhunters. Not to mention the truth about sector 666. Oh man! That was awesome. This War of the Green Lanterns is going to be awesome and that last panel? Oh wow! I got some thoughts on that. This is going to be very cool.

I really wonder what the revelation of the truth of sector 666 will mean for Atrocitus. I can't wait to find out. I love him.

This issue was purely amazing, it did everything it was suppose to do in my mind. It made us excited for the War of the Green Lanterns and the Krona backstory was god damn beautiful. I hope Krona stays on as a villain for some time, he's perfect.

I thought the reveal was pretty damn interesting. Attrocitus is becoming an amazing character and I am intrigued by the fact the Red Lanterns are getting their own series. Should be good times all around.

Agreed with everyone so far, #63 was fantastic. It was great to see some backstory for Krona. He was always a villain I thought really had potential but was never brought to light. I thought he was going to have his moment to shine in Trinity, but that turned out horrible. I'm glad to see Johns giving him another chance here.

What'll it mean? Atrocitus' people were slaughtered so Krona could stick his tongue out at the Guardians and say "I told you so". He's going to be PISSED!

63 was good, but it didn't excite me about War of the GL at all. I'll stick to reading the main book and hope that I get enough of the story to keep up.

Most definitely.

I just wonder if his anger toward the Guardians will lessen. I mean, it wasn't really their fault.

Maybe. Although he still might blame them for being self-appointed guardians of the galaxy. In his view, his people would still be alive if they just minded their own business

True. I was thinking that might be the way it goes. They did create the Manhunters, and one could argue they pushed Krona to do what he did.

I see the Guardians as much to blame for sector 666 as Krona. Krona may have done what he did to prove a point but it was the Guardians that gave Krona the outlet to make his point. For being all-power know-it-alls, the Guardians sure as hell didn't plan on that happening and they should have.

Honestly, after that reveal, I don't really blame the Guardians. I still think they are dicks, but I put the blame all on Krona.

Maybe, but I do feel that the Guardians should take some responsibility. I loved that the first instrument to harness the power of Will was that gauntlet. I thought that was really interesting and I loved how the Guardians had no idea what it was or how it worked. It would be interesting to see how they were able to harness the power of Will to give to their Green Lantern Corps.

Also, I have this strange feeling that either Guy or Kyle will not be a member of the Green Lanterns for much longer. If you noticed in the last panel, both Hal and John are reaching out for their respective rings but it looks like Guy and Kyle or reaching out for the same ring. That could be interesting and my guess right now is that Guy might be going to another Corps but that's just my guess.

I thought this was excellent; the best issue in a long time.

Though disappointed with the 3 book crossover, I'm still looking forward to this..

I think it won't be a case of his anger towards the Guardians lessening - let's face it, he's permanently angry anyway - but he'll most certainly have a full rage-on for Krona!

I loved #63. So much interesting information. Just shows that exposition can be done well without having to be boring. Was it my imagination or were the Guardians starting to look smaller already towards the end of the issue?

I hate not having the multi quote option...

anyway I agree with you guys I still blame the Guardians somewhat as they took NO responcibility whatso ever nor even felt bad/regretted that it happened.

I also agree that it will either be Guy or Kyle who loses the ring. bummer either way for me

I tend to think that whoever loses the Green Lantern ring will end up with one of the other coloured rings. I guess that's kind of obvious. Anyway, I don't think it will be Guy. Guy is pretty much the star of Emerald Warriors and, given the name of that book, I can't see him not being a GL.

Now after saying that about Guy I'm actually starting to think it might be Hal (so that kind of contradicts my Guy being the star of his book so he won't be touched theory). There's been a lot of comments lately from the Guardians about Hal being a problem. I'm just starting to wonder if that is foreshadowing things a bit.
