Fans of Community can rejoice! NBC announced that the show, which has still been in production during its hiatus, will be returning on Thursday, March 15 at 8:00 PM. This makes the NBC mid-March schedule Community, 30 Rock, The Office, and Up All Night. This means that, Parks & Recreation will take a break until April 19, when Up All Night finishes its season, and then it will be back.
Community is going back into its old time slot, which puts it up against The Big Bang Theory yet again, meaning that the unCommunitized among us will still have a reason for not watching. (Do yourself a favor and DVR just one episode.)
In other NBC news, Whitney and Are You There, Chelsea are going away on April 4. (There’s still no news of cancellation. Yet.) Replacing those shows are Best Friends Forever and Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, a hidden camera show run by people who believe that candy should still cost a nickel, proving that they’re totally down with OPP (Old People Pranks). As long as it features plenty of Betty White, I’m in.
